G is for Giraffe

In Tanzania we saw wild giraffes. They are HUGE

This was while driving on a normal street in Tanzania in April 2010. And it was the same place where we saw the elephants from my previous post.

This is my ABC Wednesday. To watch more go to this site from Mrs. Nesbitt.

  7. Oh, wow! What I would give to see a giraffe in its natural home. I feel sorry for the ones stuck in zoos. Thanks for sharing your photos.

  10. When we first saw an elephant there, we deceided to wait. And then we saw giraffes, zebras and more elephants. For the night we went back to a village and came back the next day. More big wild animals. Crossing the street.
For sure these encounter was a highlight.
