  1. My favorite kind of shadow! I remember looking at clothesline shadows when I was a child, and trying to identify each piece of clothing from its shadow, just for fun.

    WONDERFUL NONSENSE

    A shadow’s a wonderful thing;
    O listen! Can you hear it sing?
    It tells of a time
    Before there was crime—
    Trust that and you’ll trust anything!

  5. Your clothes shadows are so crisp it's as if the earth beneath them were indented with them! Good one, Carola!

  7. A great shadow, so full of action. I agree about B&W photography - you have to be aware of the shot without colour, and see the shapes and tones.

  9. This is fun! I like that you used B&W, too. Something peaceful about clothes flapping on the line.
