This is my ABC Wednesday, todays letter Q is for Quito.
Quito, the capital of Ecuador. 2,850 m (9,350 ft) high, close to the Equator with a perfect subtropical highland climate.
We spend there five weeks, in a small garden house, surrounded by avocado trees. (I have to surch for a photo).
How lucky that you have been to Ecuador! And to have been there for five weeks is amazing!
ReplyDeletewow, another Quito.love it.

Aha! I did Quito, too, Carola. I enjoyed it very much, and would have loved to spend 5 weeks, as you did, but there was an awful lot of rain when we were there. However, for a house with an avocado tree, I would have suffered the pain caused by wet weather.
ReplyDeleteThere is a valley, not far from Quito, where it is said people live longer than anywhere else in the world. I'd like to live there!
