I love Vancouver

Welcome. At the airport. Do you see my boys and me (carrying the little one on my back)? June 2009

After one day walking on the Trans Canada Trail, we found a spot to spend the night in our tent on Mt. Burnaby,
 a magical night

A city that really holds it promises.

I love it because of:
  1. Superb couchsurfing near Fraser St, ten walking minutes from E Broadway, great people, lovely neighberhood
  2. The Ocean
  3. The Mountains
  4. V. is not to big,
  5. is very friendly
  6. is creativ
  7. and has a relaxed atmosphere
Linked to ABC Wednesday. Todays letter is V.

  1. Oh how wonderful - I must whilst I loved Isle of Man and I love where we live - travelling around always ensures we know where we know our heart is! Thanks - a great post.

  3. I love Vancouver, too. I worked in and around there for many, many years, so it is my home city. Going back for a visit in ten days.
Your photos are wonderful. I always love to see Vancouver through other people's eyes. This was a treat!

  8. A very timely choice - they may just win the Stanley Cup tonight. Or maybe not.

(that is hockey - ICE hockey - for anyone not in the loop!)

  9. Like Kay, I am a former Vancouverite. It's still one of my very favorite cities in the world. Th Vancouver Canucks were badly beaten in the Stanley Cup and hooligans then went on a very nasty rampage... so very very un-Canadian!
