Kris, she is a beauty. Randy, no we don't have pets. We stayed some weeks near Quito (Tumbaco) in a garden house. The family had two dogs and one cat. Francisca, she was always running away, I could never pat her.
Carola, THAT is the essence of a cat! Cats are totally independent and do not respond to affection until THEY are good and ready. You want to pet? Find a dog. LOL! Having said that, it's a strange thing that I am not overly fond of cats and they come to me... maybe reverse psychology works better. :-)
