City of Three Rivers

The River Inn meets the River Danube, the historical center Altstadt from Passau, Germany, 2008
Passau (previously Latin: Batavis or Batavia) is a town in Lower Bavaria, Germany. It is also known as the Dreiflüssestadt or "City of Three Rivers," because the Danube is joined at Passau by the Inn from the south and the Ilz from the north.
In an impressiv areal view you may watch the different colors from the rivers.
Passau was an ancient Roman colony and is worth a visit.

  1. Wow, the mighty Danube. I haven't seen it yet, but would like to.
In Canada we have a "Three Rivers" city called Trois Rivieres, in the province of Quebec.
