For the International Woman's Day I choose these photos. Siama and her mother Josephine live in a slum in the center from Islamabad at the Sitara Market. Pakistan, May 2009.

It's hard for them to find a job. Siama showed me here references, she has worked in households for many years. This paper was for her a piece of hope. And she is hoping for a call.

You have captured so well the many facts of their beauty and courage. I stand in awe of their courage to live in the face of such hardship. Do you know the book by Daniyal Mueenuddin, IN Other Rooms, Other Worlds?

Thanks for your nice words! It's a bit hard for me to find the right words to descripe something. Here I'm happy that you understood my thoughts.
I didn't know this book. Sounds interesting. Just downloaded a shortstory from him.
