Walking home

On my way back from work, again from the long and nice route. I like to step out from the tram some kilometers before my station and walk instead of sitting. This is so wonderful! Glad that I take this 45 Minutes to exercise and just for my pleasure.

Cutting down

The Weekend in Black and White with this last shots from the tree in the neighbours garden. It was much to tall and to close to the houses. And after the violent storm in June, when the tall spruce from the neighbors on the other site hit our house (damaging our roof) I'm glad that this one is not standing anymore.

Strawberry picking

Children and parents field, full of strawberries, we ate a lot while we picked

Oh so yummy!

I love strawberries, my favorite fruit
Have you ever picked your own fruit? Cheap, fresh and you know where they grow. A lot of fun for kids too. we have some redcurrant and apples in the garden, but no strawberries.

We always have time enough, ...

...if we will but use it aright.
― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

These are my last shots from 2013. I like to be in the forest and it is great to spend the time doing what you love.

Linking to ABC Wednesday with todays letter Y.
Y is for Year! O.k. not very original, but it fits for today, I think.

We went to a close by spoil tip with great down hill routes. There are lots of here in the Ruhr Area.
Do you know that I love snow? I try to be as much outside as possible. Hmmm, but that is what I always do.
