What are you doing?

I enjoy swimming and beeing in the water, in a pool, a lake, a river, the ocean. It doesn't matter where.
And Thomas loves it too.
Have you ever tried floating in a river for some kilometers / miles? I like to remember two places. Great was floating in the Kettle River near Rock Creek, Canada. The river Rhine near Diessenhofen, Swiss is perfect for floating too. There is a possibility to float around 2 km / 1,24 mi.

Just a spring day in Lünen

The river Lippe is runnung through Lünen
It was just an ordinary work day. And I had my camera with me. And the weather was fantastic. Monday means I have to walk a bit between different work places, so that's for me the opportunity to see, to stand still and open my eyes.
And I walked another way along the river Lippe.
When I say this pictures on the computer I realy felt the need to keep on blogging. I don't know how often, but here it is.

Three in the garden

ABC Wednesdays letter today is D. I chose "Drei", which is this number in German.
The photo challenge The August Break 2014 has the prompt "three" today. So I went in the garden and looked around.

Orange

Some pics from our kayak tour. I was paddling the orange boat. My son had lots of fun in and out of the water. Me too!

Some shades of water

Water from around the world. Just a few shades of water from some lakes, the Amazon River, the Indus River, a local canal and the Atlantic Ocean.

I love water in every color, all the water in this world!

I like to travel on and with the water in a sailboat or a canoe, a logboat or with a bigger ship. It's fantastic to walk in or at the water, swim, drink, wash, splash ...

ABC Wednesdays letter this week is W - for Water.

Wadden Sea (German: Wattenmeer)

Mudflat hiking with a guide from the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park
The Waddensea  is an intertidal zone in the southeastern part of the North Sea. It lies between the coast of northwestern continental Europe and the range of Frisian Islands, forming a shallow body of water with tidal flats and wetlands. It is rich in biological diversity. In 2009, the Dutch and German parts of the Wadden Sea were inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. (from Wikipedia) more

Norderney

My Sky Watch Friday from this German Island.
In the last couple of days I had lots of sand, water and big, not always blue (but always great for sure) SKY with thick fog sometimes.

This week I'm on a school trip on the island Norderney in the North Sea. We'll fly kites on the beach this afternoon.

Open Your Eyes

Not that typical kind of sign. It should help you to find your way in the water. I took this while having a spare minute at work.

Signs, signs

The titel is from Snow Patrol, I love this song!
