Every working day I use the S-Bahn. And I like it. The new trains go quite and normally they are not crowded. I get a seat and like to read in a book. When the book is good, I have to watch out, I ones missed my destination Bochum-Langendreer.

Reflexions and the U

Again the Dortmunder U, on my way to work. It's an impressiv building with this big video installation. In Dortmund nothing really is unique, exapt the U.

From Wikipedia: The Dortmund U-Tower is a brewery building in the city of Dortmund, Germany. It was the first skyscraper of Dortmund, built in 1926-1927. The high-rise Union Brewery used this building for the fermentation and storage of their products. In 1994 the brewery and all its surrounding buildings were closed and demolished, only the Dortmund U-Tower was spared due to having landmark status. In January 2008 the Dortmund U-Tower was decided to be redeveloped as a flagship project for the "Ruhr 2010 - Cultural Capital of Europe".

This morning

You may wonder, often you see photos from the train and station. That's because I have some time there, when I wait for the next train when I go to work. For photographing I love the light in the morning, the subject train and the surrounding big city atmosphere.

Dortmunder U

The famous and photogenic emblem from Dortmund, the Dortmund U-Tower. On top is a video installation from the Hartware MedienKunstVerein. And I like to watch it. Always interesting, sometimes funny, today I saw a big spider crawling. Other times I saw sky, butterflies, montains, people.
Here I have to change the train.

In the morning

On my way to work. It was a beautiful dawn and the last SUMMER morning. Do you listen to music in this time? I just heard this two songs.
