ABC Wednesdays letter today is D. I chose "Drei", which is this number in German.
The photo challenge The August Break 2014 has the prompt "three" today. So I went in the garden and looked around.

Have you ever picked your own fruit? Cheap, fresh and you know where they grow. A lot of fun for kids too. we have some redcurrant and apples in the garden, but no strawberries.

Summer is fresh

Straight and fresh from the garden for my breakfast muesli. I pick them with my son in the morning. Now are holidays and we are enjoying great weather.

We are on the ship Cabo Pantoja. At every stop they load more and more bananas, pigs, cows and passangers. On the way from Pantoja to Iquitos. Here you find more from our Amazon trip.

Orange

In Cartagena de Indias , Colombia, December 2009

O is for orange. This is my ABC Wednesday.

I was looking through my photos and was surprised how much orange I found in Cartagena, in this old town on the Caribian Coast. Some say it's the most beautiful town in South America. The old town is full of beauty, atmosphere, architecture and color. Fantastic to walk around, listen to some music, shoot some photos and watch the locals (yes it's a living museum).
Cartagena is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
