Some shades of water

Water from around the world. Just a few shades of water from some lakes, the Amazon River, the Indus River, a local canal and the Atlantic Ocean.

I love water in every color, all the water in this world!

I like to travel on and with the water in a sailboat or a canoe, a logboat or with a bigger ship. It's fantastic to walk in or at the water, swim, drink, wash, splash ...

ABC Wednesdays letter this week is W - for Water.

Getting out on adventures and exploring adds clarity to most of life’s confusions

Our place for one night, we just pitched the tent somewhere, in the South of Namibia. Here some more posts from Namibia.
All 2010, on our way across Africa, from Cape Town to Alexandria. As some of you know, this was part of our world travel, 739 days from 2008 to 2010.
I'll show you some more travel inspirations here, like I did in the beginning of my blog. If you like here is what I tagged with travel.

Entry

View from our hotel room in a small village at the Karakorum Highway, in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
If I would look more to the left I could see the Nanga Parbat, one of the highest mountains on earth.

We are enjoying the march sun, in front of our room.

After some days rest here we continued our travel to Astore.
Pakistan 2009
First we came to Pakistan to travel overland from India to China, there is no other way. But then we spend three month in this country. It was an extraordinary time. We came with a difficult feeling, met outstanding, friendly, hospitable people and we were overhelmed from this awesome mountains in the north.
More from our travel in Pakistan in some previous posts.

ABC Wesdnesday - A is for ...

... ABC Wednesday is awesome. I play it now for three years, it is still fun to visit the other blogs. Hopefully I will post more and comment on your sites.
This shot is from this morning, on my way to work, right now sitting in the train. It's a shot with my android tablet after some editing with a photo app.
It's four years ago that I started my blog, while traveling around the world, in an internet café in Tumbaco, Ecuador. Quite an adventure! So this a bit of an anniversary post, too.

A former RV park, now we had all the places on our own, with some photogenic surrounding

In San Ygnacio, close to the Mexican border
So for this weeks ABC Wenesday my X is a tour in TeXas. Photos from our road trip across (north to south) the USA in 2009.

In the big cities we did some awesome couchsurfing in the homes from wonderful people. That really gave us an inside in Texan life. And on the road we found fantastic places to pitch the tent.

Linked to signs, signs. I have no idea from which place the distances on the guidepost are?
