I'm glad you explained the sign as I wouldn't have guessed it otherwise. Our "do not..." signs have a diagonal line through the image here. Now I've learned something new today.

I don't know what I would have thought if I saw this one!

and if you must walk, stretch your arms out sideways, like so. That is not a very clear sign (and I'm glad I wasn't the only one confused!)

I wouldn't have known what it meant either (but I don't think I would walk on the rails anyway, with or without a sign ;>)...like many of those warning signs we have over here, you kind of wonder who needs them.

I would have NO IDEA what that sign meant if I saw it. Walk a straight line with your arms out like in a sobriety test? (Not that I ever had to take one.....just what I saw on TV!)

I love the light and color of your shot

Wouldn't think people would need a sign telling them not to walk on the rails, but now days......it's probably a good idea.

Nice lighting in the photo. Early morning or evening?

As a former subway train driver I know for sure that the sign is needed. There have been people that climb down onto the tracks and began walking to the next station. Some made it and some did not make it.
