Nicaragua

Esteli, Nicaragua, November 2009
Esteli is a good place for a traveler. Easy to stroll around and take pictures. We enjoyed beeing in the small streets, watching the local people. All so colorful. A very friendly town. We stayed longer then we planed in a thiny hotel right in the center. We had no expectations, only wanted to stop on our way from Canada to Panama by car. I like this kind of surprises.

So many signs here gave me the idea to link it to signs, signs.

Lovely, I've never seen pictures of Nicaragua (except unfortunate ones on the news in the old days). Thank you.

Your series definitely gives the flavor of this little town -- lovely assortment.

Our grandkids are traveling in Honduras now and have sent us similar pics, they like to stop in small villages like this to really find out what life is like.

The buildings, colors, and the children remind me of Belize and Costa Rica. They are both so inviting. LIttle streets and bright little houses. Love your captures this week. genie
