A is for Amazon

These people come close to our ship and wait for plastik bags with t-shirts.

On board from our cargo and passanger ship, the only private area is your hammock

Thomas and his friends

chicken, turtel, little monkeys on the passanger deck

Andreas watches a small village

The men bring bananas and pigs on board
All photos between Pantoja (Peru) and Belem (Brazil). That was a long trip. One of our biggest adventures.
And, you know, I love the Amazon.

I don't think I could handle so little privacy. But I'm glad you could and could share this some of this amazing - long!- trip.

Oh my what wonderful and intriging pictures. Love the colors could almost feel the atmophere, and smells. How interesting to have private space...go to your hammock.

Wonderful beginning for Round 9.

Very exotic adventures. Your children are fortunate to be able to experience others cultures so graphically.

Wow! Love all the hammocks! Very nice shots. I was in Manaus a long time ago and took a half day river trip, but it was nothing like yours! Enjoy the day.

Wow. Amazing photos. Love the one of Thomas and friends, but the one with the chicken is the pick of the bunch.
