On the shore of Heart Lake the campsite 8J6. Such a beautiful place in the Yellowstone backcountry with a stream for drinking water close by.

We stayed here two nights (and it was our last camp at this 12 day / 11 nights hiking trip). What an incredible scenery with wonderful sunsets over Mt. Sheridan.

I love this place. I love wilderness. And this hiking was one of the best adventure I've ever had.

Amazing hike! I envy you. The sign definitely lets us know it's wilderness!
My husband and I are still hoping to get out there one of these days to do some hiking. He is used to funny toilet sign, and he also goes prepared on his long hike by caring a little shovel in his backpack. Loved the campsite. genie
My camping days are over. I prefer a flush toilet with walls around it. I'm glad that you still enjoy your hiking trips.
