Our train, Ürümqi to Beijing, China, May 2009
|
Ürümqi is the capital from
Xinjiang. About 3,700 kilometers by rail to Beijing. Around 48 hours on the train. We had a great time getting close to the Chinese people.

C is for China. And for
Couchsurfing in China. We had a great time in Ürümqi staying in the flat from a young man, spending two fantastic days together, exploring the city and eating the best local food. And he helped us to buy a ticket for this train, so it was easy.
Next time the letter C will be Couchsurfing. Such a great way to travel. Today it is to late.
Ürümqi is Ueruemqi is Urumqi is Wulumuqi.
