Bordercrossing by bike - we came from Hungary - and we don't had to wait in the long cue queue |

A beautiful and quite place for our tent |
My
ABC Wednesday is for
Cycling in
Croatia. And this is my contribution for
signs, signs.
A previous post with
Signs after the war of Independance.
In 2008 we traveled along the
Danube River from Passau in Germany to Constanța in Romania. Around 2400 kilometers. The first 700 to Budapest by feet, from there by bike to the Black Sea in Romania. What a trip to explore nature and people in the east of Europe.

How very interesting...Thanks for the tour.
What an amazing trip that must have been.
The war-torn building is such a visual reminder of war.
Beautiful camping shot too.
so much of the world to see... like the queue!

Wonderful shots, and a lovely variety. The gun-riddled buildings remind me of what can be seen in my birth city of Belfast...
Must be a beautiful ride but what a shame about the damage done!

Thank you all for your comments.
And thanks Roger for the "Cue".
The scars of the war on the buildings are very impressive. They should keep it so people will never forget. Beautiful light on the sunset pic.
Wonderful post ~ excellent photography ~ very informative ~~ thanks, namaste, (A Creative Harbor)
An amazing journey! All those damaged walls and the fractured water tower are so very sad! Amazing that the tower has been left standing like that! Fascinating photos!
Your trips are amazing!
This must have been an interesting trip. Thanks for sharing.
That's a good way to cross borders. I see the walls full of bullet holes. Kind of sad that it happened to other places. Great and interesting post thanks for sharing.

Very interesting post! A nice welcoming sign for Croatia. My friends visited Croatia last year and took pictures of some of the bullet riddled buildings.
