You might be the only person in Europe who has me scrambling for Google Maps to find a place in my home province of British Columbia. Okay, I found it, between Kootenay Lake and Kimberley, near a place called Meachen. I found Redding Creek, and Redding Creek Road, just off the St. Mary River Road. My dad wrote a story about the St. Mary River in one of his Living Rivers of British Columbia books. Now I can relate your lovely shadowy photo to my mental picture of BC. Great color and light, Carola, and I love the tiny white clouds.
Thanks for doing the work for me, Kay! I lived in Kelowna for a year (besides the many in Vancouver) and still didn't know where Redding Creek Road was... This is lovely, Carola, and I know it would have been a divine place to hike!
